Corrosion test unit for use in the automotive industry, steel industry and aluminium industry conforming to the latest standards of changes in corrosion (VDA new). The test consists of a salt-spray cycle, an assessment cycle, followed by a cold cycle. Also existing checks can be carried out that conform to DIN EN ISO 9227 (previously DIN 50021), DIN EN ISO 6270-2 (previously DIN 50017) and checks conforming to VDA test 621-415.

The atmosphere required can be controlled with the aid of a conditioning unit, e.g., an external box or an external test area fitted with special temperature regulating hoses. This flexible technical solution offers the advantage of operating several test boxes or areas alternately with the test climate required.

Sunlight or other radiation of various intensities can cause rapid ageing or other detrimental effects when materials are exposed to the effects of weather. CTS can offer suitable cabinets or chambers for simulating these effects.

During their lifetime, solar and photovoltaic modules are subjected to a large number of environmental factors. Amongst others, test to IEC 61215 and IEC 61646 standards can be performed in our solar chambers. We have cabinets or chambers available to suit the size of your modules. If required, we can offer you a customised rack to accommodate the solar modules.

  • The multi-chamber system is particularly suitable for the damp heat test, where the test duration is 1000 hours. Here tests can be started and carried out in parallel in different test areas.

  • CTS offers several options for fixing your modules in a CTS chamber. Whether as a complete rack mounting, which can be dismantled according to the type or U-profiles, which can be mounted on the ceiling and on the floor, we will find the right bracket for your modules.

  • We have especially developed for the solar industry, the CTS standard test chambers with extra high test area. The simple insertion by the floor to ceiling test space and by the optional racks and shelving system allow an optimal condition for the test according to the most common testing standards for solar modules. You can get our standardized solar Test Chambers with 1500 liters and 2000 liters.

In particularly serious and long to be mounted specimens, the door can be completely moved away from the test chamber and the test chamber can be fitted. Test material changes can be done in a very short time through the second door. The door is constructed so that it is secured by corresponding clamps on the enclosure.
